The Devon based 'Two Moors' Group is an informal, non subscription, circle of kindred spirits mainly adopting

16mm:1ft and 7/8":1ft scales running on 32mm gauge trackage.

Our small but experienced number of colleagues strongly support the Association of 16mm Narrow Gauge Modellers, and during 2022 were responsible, with assistance from the central Somerset Group,
for the introduction of live steam and battery exhibited 16mm running at
the award winning local narrow gauge heritage venue, the Lynton & Barnstaple Railway, at Woody Bay Station, within the beautiful Exmoor National Park.

A casual get together among friends of the Two Moors and Central Somerset 16mm Groups.

LtoR:Laurence Poole, Roger Gardner, Simon Whenmouth, Pat Brewer, Ted Dixon, Chris Tilley, Pete Chandler and Neil Helsby...enjoying sunshine, cream teas and laughs. We are an easy-going friendship who enjoy all that's great about 16mm railway modelling and running.

We welcome new faces to our group, whether old hands, newbies or anything in between. Are you a 16mm Association member new to the area of North Devon? Why not get in touch and have a chat with our Liaison Officer Pat Brewer by phone or email. You'll find him on the Contact page. Or just visit the Woody Bay Garden Railway on one of their official running days and introduce yourself. If you wish to run a train of your own you'll need to arrange for this beforehand.

Current proof of steam pressure safety testing is a requirement.
